NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given in accordance with the adopted Public Participation Process that the Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization will conduct a public hearing at 11:00 a.m. on the 12th day of May, 2015, in the 3rd Floor Conference Room, City Hall, 212 SW 9th Street, Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, for the following purposes:
To adopt a Resolution approving Amendment No. 2 to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Federal Fiscal Years 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 to add $150,000 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality funding in FFY 2016.
This public notice and the established review and comment period will satisfy the public participation process requirements. The TIP is a staged program encompassing a four-year period consisting of all federally funded transportation roadway and planning improvements and a three-year period of federally funded transit improvements in the Lawton Metropolitan Transportation Study Area. The proposed amendment to the TIP is available for review and comment at the following locations:

All citizens of the Lawton Metropolitan Area whose interests are affected by the subjects to be considered at this hearing are hereby notified and invited to appear at said time and place and present such evidence, comment or objection as their interests require. Written comments, timely received, will also be considered.
