NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the adopted Public Participation Process that the Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization will conduct a public hearing at 11:00 a.m. on the 12

 

th day of June, 2018, in the 3rd Floor Conference Room, City Hall, 212 SW 9th Street, Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, for the following purpose:

To adopt a Resolution approving Amendment No. 2 to the Transportation Improvement

Program (TIP) for Federal Fiscal Years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 to add funding in FFY

2018 for security cameras and for a bus tracking system using Section 5307 funds and funding for a paratransit vehicle using Section 5310 funds and to add funding in FFY 2019 for a bus tracking system using Section 5307 funds and funding for a paratransit vehicle using Section

This public notice of public involvement  activities and time established for public review and comments on the TIP will satisfy the program of projects requirement of the Section 5307 Program.

The TIP is a staged program encompassing a four-year period consisting of all federally funded transportation roadway and planning improvements and federally funded transit improvements in the Lawton Metropolitan Transportation Study Area. The proposed amendment to the TIP is available for review and comment at the following locations:

Please note that the meeting place is ADA accessible. The TIP amendment is also available for

Lawton Metropolitan Area whose interests are affected by the subjects to be considered at this hearing are hereby notified and invited to appear at said time and place and present such evidence, comment or objection as their interests require. Written comments, timely received, will also be considered.
